This seems nicely focused and relates to some of the theoretical reading from early in the term, especially Haraway. You might include Haraway and Atwood as search terms, to see if others have linked them around the issue of the “animal”; you might also include terms like “hybrid,” “posthuman/ist,” and “biohacking,” which is sometimes used as a descriptor of the genre that includes the Maddadam Trilogy as well as the works of, for example, Jeff VanderMeer and Paulo Baciagalupe. Great start and right-sized for a paper like this.
